About Us
The Ukrainian Community of People with Multiple Sclerosis (UCMS) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2018 by people living with MS. Every year we act and develop, working for the benefit of the community: we create projects for patients and their families, collaborate with doctors and partners, raise public awareness of social projects, and cooperate with the Ministry of Health, the State Center for the Prevention of Multiple Sclerosis, the National Health Service of Ukraine, and other state institutions.
Our goals
Access to therapy: collaboration with government agencies, advocacy, and fundraising to ensure people receive the treatment they need.
Need-based service system: individual care, including palliative support.
Self-help groups: a space for sharing experiences and psychological support.
Specialized rehabilitation: programs and activities specifically for people with MS.
Public awareness: events, campaigns and other initiatives about MS.
Values
Evidence-based: we focus on international protocols, modern research, and reliable sources.
Patient-doctor partnership: information about medicines is provided descriptively; the final decision on therapy is made by the doctor.
Confidentiality and consent: We publish experiences and materials only with the author's permission.
Ethics and mutual respect: We support a safe, inclusive space and zero tolerance for stigma.

MS is a journey, not a race. Take it one step, one day at a time. Focus on what you can control, and let go of what you cannot.
Our Mission
To show the existence of such a widespread
diseases such as multiple sclerosis, counteract stigmatization, and develop a system for providing medical and social services for MS patients in Ukraine.

Our Vision
